Garlic Shrimp Pasta

This is your dose of seafood goodness in a bowl with affordable ingredients and easy-to-do recipe.
- 1 lb medium shrimps, deveined and tails removed
- 1 lb spaghetti noodles
- 6-8 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup butter
- olive oil (3 drizzles)
- a dash of Italian season (powder mix)
- dash of red pepper flakes
- salt and pepper to taste
- dash of herbs (optional)
In a large pot with boiling water and oil, cook pasta until al dente. Season with salt. Drain and set aside.
Wash shrimp and set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add shrimps. Cook until the shrimps start to curl and turn slightly pink. Add garlic and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
Add oil and continue to stir until shrimps are pink and curled.
Mix the pasta. Add seasonings (Italian season powder mix, salt, pepper, and a dash of red pepper flakes) and pour saved pasta water. Amount according to your preference. Tip: You may add ¼ water then see if it requires more.
- Toss the ingredients and transfer to a serving dish.
