Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 lb medium shrimps, deveined and tails removed
  • 1 lb spaghetti noodles
  • 6-8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • olive oil (3 drizzles)
  • a dash of Italian season (powder mix)
  • dash of red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • dash of herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot with boiling water and oil, cook pasta until al dente. Season with salt. Drain and set aside.

  2. Wash shrimp and set aside.

  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add shrimps. Cook until the shrimps start to curl and turn slightly pink. Add garlic and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.

  4. Add oil and continue to stir until shrimps are pink and curled.

  5. Mix the pasta. Add seasonings (Italian season powder mix, salt, pepper, and a dash of red pepper flakes) and pour saved pasta water. Amount according to your preference. Tip: You may add ¼ water then see if it requires more.

  6. Toss the ingredients and transfer to a serving dish.
