Healthy, tasty and lean?expect all these from this mighty serving of Chicken Burger. It's a great delight for your afternoon merienda or baon for your kids.
- 1 kilo Magnolia Chicken Breasts, deboned and chopped
- 1 pc onion, chopped
- 1 pc egg
- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs, soaked in 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Magnolia Cheezee, grated
- 1 tbsp hamburger seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup Magnolia Cheezee, sliced
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 tbsp catsup
- oil (for frying)
- 8 pcs burger buns
In a bowl, combine chicken, onion, egg, breadcrumb mixture, flour, grated cheese, catsup and seasoning in an osterizer and process until well blended.
Divide mixture into eight portions and fill each ball with a slice of cheese and form into burger patties. Chill until firm.
Dredge patties in cornstarch and fry in hot oil until well done.
- Serve immediately in burger buns with lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, etc.
