Barbecued Franks with Caramelized Onions

Sun out and breeze cold outside? Then it's time to thaw those frozen sausage franks and prep for a cook-out with the whole gang!

Ingredients

  • 6 pcs Purefoods Beef Franks
  • 6 pcs mini baguette, split in half
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 cups white onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 2 tbsp flat-leaf parsley

Instructions

  1. Sauté onions in oil over medium heat.

  2. Add balsamic vinegar and sprinkle sugar over onions.

  3. Continue to cook to caramelized onions for about 10-15 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat. Set aside.

  5. Grill Beef Franks for about three to five minutes.

  6. Sandwich in baguettes then top with caramelized onions, mustard and some flat leaf parsley.

  7. Serve while hot.

  8. Serving good for six.
