Pork Siomai (Shumai)

Ingredients
- 1 pack siomai wrapper
- 1/2 kilo Monterey Ground Lean Pork (Kasim)
- 250 grams Monterey Pork Fatback, coarsely chopped
- 100 grams shrimps, shelled and diced
- 250 grams turnips, grated and squeezed
- 1/3 cup spring onions, chopped
- 1 pc egg
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 tsp refined salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions

Mix siomai filling ingredients in a bowl. Set aside in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Fill each siomai wrapper with 2 tsps filling. Steam for 8 to 10 minutes.

Serve warm with a dip made of soy sauce and freshly-squeezed calamansi juice.
- Serving good for 45 pieces.
