Chicken with Green Peas and Cashews

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pack Magnolia Chicken Thigh Fillet, sliced into cubes
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/3 cup onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, sliced
  • 2 tbsp rice wine
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch, dissolved in 1 1/2 tsp water
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1 cup carrots, cubed
  • 100 grams cashew nuts, toasted
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • dashes pepper

Instructions

  1. Sauté onions and ginger in hot oil.

  2. Add chicken and carrots then sauté until chicken is cooked.

  3. Add water and rice wine, and simmer for 3 minutes or more.

  4. Lastly, add peas. Toss a little to cook evenly.

  5. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. Thicken sauce with cornstarch dissolved in water.

  7. Simmer for one minute then, add cashews.
