Chicken Sate

There are a lot of Asian skewers to try and discover and one of the staples in many Asian countries is the Chicken Sate. Here’s another chicken dish for you that’s made extra special and tasty with various Asian spicy seasonings.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kilo Magnolia Chicken Thigh Fillet, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp sherry
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 3 tbsp Dari Creme Classic Margarine, melted
  • vegetable oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Marinate for at least 1 hour.

  3. Skewer chicken pieces in barbecue sticks.

  4. Grill over moderate heat for 8 minutes or until well done, brushing occasionally with oil.

  5. Transfer marinade in saucepan.

  6. Let boil and simmer for 5 minutes.

  7. Adjust seasonings if needed.

  8. Brush into chicken satay just before serving.
