Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Dari Creme Classic
  • 1/3 cup onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 500 g Magnolia Chicken Station Thigh Fillet, cubed
  • 1/2 cup carrots, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Purefoods Baron All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 pc chicken bouillon cube, dissolved in 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup Magnolia Fresh Milk
  • 1/4 cup Magnolia Quickmelt Cheese, grated
  • 1 cup potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1/4 cup Magnolia Fresh Milk
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp Dari Creme Classic, melted

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a saucepan.

  2. Sauté onions and garlic.

  3. Add chicken, carrots, potatoes and bell peppers.

  4. When potatoes become tender, add ¼ cup flour.

  5. Mix well and pour in chicken stock and milk.

  6. Let simmer and stir in grated cheese.

  7. Simmer for 3 minutes more and remove from heat.

  8. Prepare mashed potatoes by combining potatoes, milk, chicken stock and melted margarine in a bowl. Mix well.

  9. Assemble the potpie by pouring the chicken mixture in a baking pan.

  10. Top it with prepared mashed potatoes.

  11. Broil for 10 to 15 minutes or until surface turns golden

  12. Serve hot.
