10 Signs You're a Foodie

10 Signs You're a Foodie

Story of your life: Cook. Eat. Think about what to eat or cook next. Repeat.

The grocery is your shopping haven.

You have a list of your go-to grocery stores. You know exactly where to go for specific ingredients and you know if there’s a new product on the rack. Heaven is on earth when you’re in the grocery.

The kitchen is your favorite spot in the house, obviously.

Trying out new recipes and cooking for the family are more relaxing than staying in bed all day.

Spice is your slice of lif**e.**

Name it, your kitchen has it—oregano, white and black pepper, cinnamon, paprika, chili, cayenne pepper, cumin, curry, and the list goes on. Your dream is to have every herb or spice from A to Z.

You follow the best food websites or food accounts on social media.

When you’re not cooking or eating, you check out food websites to know the best new restaurants out there or you read through more recipes or cooking tips online.

You love to mix and match old and new ingredients.

You love to put a twist on the classic Adobo, Menudo, Carbonara, and every old recipe you’ve mastered in the past with your newly-bought spices.

Food shots on IG?

You just have to take a picture of that glorious slow-grilled steak paired with perfectly-baked potatoes and mac n’ cheese on the side, and share it to the world. Plus, you know all the filters to make it look extra mouthwatering. #DoubleTapWorthy

Travel = must try all the special cuisines and restaurants of your destination

And that’s on top of your list of itinerary.

You’re the go-to person of your friends/loved ones if they want to try a new recipe.

You know the do’s and dont’s of trying out new recipes. You indulge them with cooking tips and tricks you’ve done before. You’re welcome, dear friends.

Kitchen tools are always on your birthday/Christmas wishlist.

Because all the things you already own in your kitchen will never be enough.

You love to eat in groups and you love to cook for other people.

Because you know that eating is best when shared and cooking is more special when you do it for the people you love.
